Spend it. Diito it.

Turn everyday spending into investing, automatically.

The trigger is the spend itself. You buy something; Diito invests the same amount for you, up to limits you set.

dto

Diito is ditto: a mirror.

Example

Takeout

Same amount. Every time.

How it works

Mirror every purchase as an investment

Set it once. After that the trigger is the purchase itself: the impulse doesn't go away, so neither does the investment.

  1. 01

    Connect your accounts

Link the bank accounts and cards you spend on, and pick the account Diito invests from. They do not have to be the same one.

  2. 02

    Choose what counts

Pick the vendors that count as discretionary for you. Coffee and takeout in, rent and utilities out.

  3. 03

    Set your mirror ceiling

The most Diito will ever match on a single purchase. You set it, and you can change it whenever you like.

  4. 04

    Auto-Diito is live

Every purchase you chose is matched and invested for you, automatically. Nothing to tap, and a record of each one.

Diito doesn't change behavior. It redirects it.

You set every limit

Diito's job is to never surprise you. Four settings decide what it does, every one of them yours: set at signup, visible in settings, changeable any time. None is hidden and none is held back.

Amount

Your mirror ceiling

The most Diito matches on any one purchase. Above it the match holds at the ceiling, so a large buy cannot drain the account.

Month

Your monthly cap

The most Diito will invest in a calendar month. Reach it and mirroring stops until the next month. You can change the cap in settings whenever you want.

Balance

Your safety floor

The balance you tell Diito not to dip into. If a match would cross it, Auto-Diito pauses mirroring instead of investing something smaller, and picks up again once your balance is clear of it.

Vendors

Your exclusions

Leave a vendor out and Diito skips it from then on. Change your mind whenever you like.

Questions

The things people ask first

What it does

Does Auto-Diito move my money on its own?

That is the whole idea: there is nothing to babysit. Once your accounts are linked and your limits are set, the purchase itself is the trigger, so there is nothing to approve and nothing to remember. You still hold every limit, and you can pause mirroring whenever you want.

Does it round up my purchases?

No. Round-ups invest the change left over from a purchase. Diito mirrors the amount itself, one for one, up to the ceiling you set. Contribution size is the difference, and you control it.

Is there a Diito card?

Not today. Diito works with the accounts and cards you already have. It reads purchases from the ones you link, and invests from an account you choose. Nothing changes about how you pay.

Your money

What happens if I spend more than my ceiling?

The match holds at the ceiling. A purchase well above your ceiling still mirrors only up to it, which is exactly what stops one large purchase from emptying the account.

Could it overdraw me?

Avoiding it is built into how Diito works, and there are four things standing in the way of it. Diito checks your bank balance before transferring. You set a floor it will never take you below. If a match would cross that line, Auto-Diito pauses instead of investing a smaller amount (a partial match is still a debit below the line you drew) and it stays paused until your balance recovers. And your per-purchase ceiling and monthly cap limit how much can ever leave in the first place.

Even with all of that, we cannot promise it never happens. Your balance can move between the moment Diito reads it and the moment the money actually leaves, and other payments can land in between. Diito is not responsible for overdraft or insufficient-funds fees your bank charges, so leave your floor some room.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Diito buys real securities on your behalf, and investments fall as well as rise, so you can end up with less than you put in. Broad markets have historically risen over long periods, but no period is guaranteed and past performance is never a promise about the future.

Your data

Do you see my bank password?

No, and we could not if we wanted to. Bank sign-in happens inside Plaid. Diito receives permission to read your transactions and balances; your credentials never reach us and are never stored.

What happens to my email address if I join the waitlist?

We use it for one thing: to email you when Diito opens. It is not added to a newsletter, sold, or shared. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Can I have my data deleted?

Yes. Write to hello@diito.it and we will delete what we hold about you. Once there are accounts, deletion will also be available from inside the app.
